In light of the latest government advice in response to the corona virus pandemic with respect to social distancing and non-essential social contact the club has taken the decision to suspend all club rides without exception for the foreseeable future.
Moving forward we will provide further updates as the situation and advice evolves. Hopefully things can return to normal as soon as possible.
In the meantime we hope that you and your families stay well.
Many thanks for your understanding.
These rides will be more hilly with distance varying up to around 60 miles – see Strava for further details of individual routes each week (note that the club’s Strava group is open to current members only). Riders should be self sufficient but this is a non-drop ride and will wait on hills, for mechanicals etc and help if there’s a problem. There is usually a short coffee stop.
All riders who participate on a Chester Road Club ride should follow our ride guidelines.
Sorry we can't find any rides matching Sunday Hilly Intermediate Club Ride on our Facebook page.
What else should you know?
Riders are expected to ride a handlebar width from the rider next to them and no more than a wheel length from the rider in front. There can be up to ten riders in a group. If you aren’t familiar with riding in a tight group check out our Skills Rides.
