Tuesday night rides. Normally brisk and intermediate to advanced level. These are winter two hour training rides with mileage varying between 25-35 miles. As they are evening rides in winter, you’ll need good lights (600+ lumens) Mudguards and a solid bike for wet roads and unavoidable poor road surfaces. We tend to keep a slightly higher pace and try to avoid stopping unnecessarily to avoid getting cold.
Being organised with reliable kit is strongly recommended for the sake of the group. That said these are a really enjoyable way of maintaining fitness during the winter. The routes are normally posted on our members’ STRAVA page.
