Please note you can leave Date of Birth blank and giving emergency contact details is completely optional.

4 – Our membership Secretary will review and approve your application.
5 – You will then receive a second email, confirming that you now have access to the Chester Road Club Spond group.

Club members will be sent a separate link on joining for them to gain access to Spond.
Booking onto a ride.
To ensure smooth ride operations, we kindly ask both members and guests to pre-book onto our club rides. Here’s how you can reserve your spot:

- Browse through the list of planned rides/events, organised by date, and labelled with the corresponding ride group (social, steady, intermediate, fast).
- Choose the event you’d like to attend and access ride information including location, time, route, and description.
- Select ‘Attend’ to confirm your participation in the ride.
If the ride you’re interested in isn’t part of the group you selected during the sign-up process, no worries! Simply follow these steps:
- Click the ‘Send Message to Host’ button within the event.
- Add a message requesting to be added to the appropriate group and invited to the ride.
- Hit ‘Send.’
- Once your request is processed, you’ll be able to click ‘Attend’ and secure your place on the ride.
We appreciate your cooperation in pre-booking onto our club rides and look forward to riding with you!
Ride groups explained
At Chester Road Club, we’ve categorised our rides into four distinct groups based on average speed, distance, and terrain and our Spond set up follows this. This makes it easy for everyone to find the ride that suits their preferences and abilities. The ride types are: Social, Steady, Intermediate and Fast. You can find out more here. You can still see all rides organised by the club. If you want to join any not within your selected group(s), simply click on ‘Send Message to Host’ on the relevant ride and request to be added to the group.
Member Spond features
We hope that after joining us for a ride or two and getting to know some of our members, you’ll consider becoming a member of Chester Road Club.
As a club member, you’ll gain access to our exclusive Spond Members Lounge. Here, members can connect with each other, initiate discussions, organise road and off-road rides, plan away days, and coordinate social events.
